Fisheries Management and Ecology

Welcome!

I started this blog on Fisheries Management and Ecology with the goal of offering readers a glimpse into my interests and experiences. I’m a Ph.D. student at the University of South Alabama and the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. I'm interested in filling knowledge gaps of fishes that support recreational and commercial fisheries. For my dissertation research, I'm specifically interested in investigating environment-recruitment relationships of fishery species and describing the population dynamics of Scamp Mycteroperca phenax in the northcentral Gulf of Mexico.
